Laura uses writing to escape the reality of the world since she was a child. She got serious about writing about the time her full time job bored her and wanted more fantasy in her life. For the past decade she has learned tricks of writing that you can plan for such as query letters, synopsis, cover letters, and outlining. The last four years she learned to embrace the adventure of chaos and writing at the seat of your pants, or with a goal in mind. Knowing that someone could get that goal in a month, but their life journey isn’t the same as yours. She has three novels self-published and a semifinalist in Mark Lawrence’s Self Publishing Fantasy Blog Off X as well as nominated for multiple Indieverse awards in 2024.

I am expecting patience (give me time to read) and understanding that I will do a mix bag approach on feedback. There will be good, and bad. I don’t promise the sandwich approach. I can do a few rounds of feedback if the mentor is willing to do the work. They must understand I’m not writing the story, I can’t put their voice into it. Cover feedback is not something I will supply. I can do virtual/live feedback (depending on time of day) or written notes.
